Volanno Program Manager Appointed to New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Advisory Board
Washington, DC (April 6, 2018) — Volanno is proud to announce the appointment of Ankush Karnik, PMP, CSM, to the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Industry Advisory Board at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Karnik is a seasoned Program and Project Management thought leader and has worked at Volanno for over 6 years, while serving as an adjunct faculty member at the New Jersey Institute of Technology for nearly 2 years.
At Volanno, Mr. Karnik has been a key contributor to the management, design, development, implementation, and training of innovative technology solutions in the transportation sector. His experience with both state and national level transit agencies in engineering, labor relations, system development and analysis, and marketing and passenger engagement is strengthened by his dedication to Volanno’s mission of commitment diversity, and agility.
As an adjunct faculty at NJIT, Mr. Karnik teaches Engineering Economics & Project Management courses to senior-level undergraduates. In these courses, he leverages industry experience to introduce upcoming engineers to real-world concepts, issues, project management methodologies, and professional development practices. Through his recent appointment to the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Industry Advisory Board, Mr. Karnik will be an active part of a board of high-profile industry leaders, tasked with advising and assisting in strategic planning, program assessment, outreach, mentoring of students, and fundraising for the NJIT.
